Blown door speaker ?

Just blew my door speaker.... Has anyone replaced there's yet? And also what brand and did this increase your sound quality ?

Anything aftermarket will just about always sound better than the cheap rink-dink stock speakers.

Best to just upgrade. Whatever your budget.....get some top quality door speakers (separates) with crossovers since these will be right up in your listening area.

I orderd a pair of Focal Speaker from Mobile Electronic Studio. They are in south Dennis Ma. 1-508-760-4564. His prices & service are are the best. My cheap after market Pioneer didn't last but three months. Expecting delivery today or monday at the latest.

I'm looking at some kicker 6x8's..... Anyone have any experience with this brand? I have heard they have good subwoofers...

I've got Pioneer 6x8s all around with no problems whatsoever. I also ordered the adapter plugs from Crutchfield so there is nothing to cut.

I also have Rockford fostgate 1000w amp and 2 12 inch subs in my trunk.... I changed the rear speakers to pioneers about 3 years ago when they blew... I was kinda thinking pioneers in the front also... Feeling a little funny about all the different brands..

I would also try to match your front speakers with your rear speakers. Makes for better sound quality. You don't want your fronts overpowering the rears and vice versa.

Half price car audio... Is a good cheap place to shop.. I have 4 6/9 across the back dash and 2 6/8 up front.. Trunk on standby for now.. All my speakers are kicker..

stock i think is the best. had pionerr 4 ways in my vic and my friend had stock speakers and his were louder and clearer
