While I was at work some jackass stole one of my wheels and was planning on getting another one. :mad2: All I want to do is get my hands around their throats thats all. I should have figured that this was going to happen sooner or later. People driving by my house then turning around and going back out the way they came. Im so mad right now I having trouble thinking. They got the rear right wheel and left their jack under my car behind the front left wheel. If the police catch these guys and get the chance for some face to face time VIOLENCE WILL BE MET BY VIOLENCE WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE!!!!

For some reason my car was unlocked heck I might have left it unlocked. I've been in this neighborhood for 3 years now. Its been a good and quiet place. Nothing like this has ever happened before. I had wheel locks on my car before but as time went by the metal or whatever the locks are made out of began bend out of shape. So I got rid of them. Thinking about getting some more now though.

Sorry to hear about that. I hope you run into the thug one day soon. You should set up a trap for him ;)

wheel locks are a joke. they are easily defeated. bang a socket over them and turn em off.

I wouldn't say gorilla wheel locks are a joke. My rims are still there.

That's one thing. A thief won't sit in your driveway banging away making noise and bringing attention to himself letting the whole neighborhood know what's going on.

Sorry about that. Where in Alabama are you so I can stay away. I can leave my keys in the car and it unlocked around here.

this is true, but a parking lot some where? if some one wants something they are gona get it. sure it might deter your average low life thug but IMO they are a false sense of security.

As stated........ if someone wants something nothing you do will stop them. What your want to do is make it hard for them to take so they look elsewhere.

I park in a locked, alarmed garage, that seems to deter most thieves......

I agree. A common thief will probly not attempt to touch your vehicle if a alarm sys and wheel locks are present. My regal was vandilized also because of no wheel locks and a faulty factory alarm sys. As soon as I got my marauder I bought locks and a new alarm sys just to deter thevies from trying their luck. LoL AND MOst theives won't touch a rauder because of the stereotype that all marauder owners are middle aged gun owners lol. This is true.:flamer:

I have the Wheel locks with a very sensitive alarm that alerts my phone. I just try not to park it where I'll be far away. If they tamper with I just might introduce them to my little friend!:D

Thats the reason why my MM never spends the night out. If someone has the audacity to come in my yard they will be met with EXTREME PREJUDICE!!!!

I ordered the Black Chrome ones from amazon.com

Even if a thief uses a socket, they will need at least 5 sockets of the same kind to get one wheel off. That's enough insurance for me.

Just be aware of your background. Wouldn't want your car to get damaged.

I always use frangible ammo for home defense, it doesn't penetrate (twss) and there are no ballistics.

I try to plan ahead on where I am going and this helps me make a decision on taking the MM or not. I try to be very alert of my surroundings. Either way I am prepared.;)

That's the idea... make it harder to get your wheels than the car next to you or the same street, lot, etc.
