Back in March, I posted that my wife's 90 year old aunt (one very sweet old lady) was driving a Crown Vic police car look-a-like.

No more.

Last week, she hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, while taking another senior citizen to a hospital for a checkup.

Both ladies were injured, but not life threatening. (Haven't heard if the car's been totaled.)

Must be a coincidence, because I was just about to contact her and ask her to pose for a picture with the car which I wanted to post here.

Just glad they're OK.

Fairly recent model.

I think it had dog dish caps, but I'm not sure.

It was a very, very dark blue. Her son bought it for her used, so I don't doubt that it had some "fleet" history.

Seems like my wife's aunt got flustered when some a**hole kept honking his horn at her to do something.

She hit the gas instead of the brake, and smashed into a wall. (Wonder if he hung around to help them?)

Airbags popped, and the two old ladies did get banged up a bit.

They've been telling her she was too old to drive. (She was driving a car full of seniors to church up till a few months ago.)

Thank goodness all she hit was a wall.

Car's totaled.
