whining coming from tranny

does anybody knows what could cause a whining noise on my 2003 marauder when upshifting and at cruising speed ?:(:(

Sounds scary have you check the fluid after being driven? If that looks good have it checked out very soon you might save a 1500 problem

I had that when I got home from MV8. A fluid and filter change cured the problem. I wouldn't drive it too far like that.

1. Check the fluid level ASAP. If low, top it off.

2. If that doesn't resolve the issue, drain, flush, change the fluid and filter.

Sounds like some basic maintenance is needed.
