When I sit at a stop might the car will shake just for a second. Almost like it's burping so to say. This only happens once every two days, if that. This was before my latest fun on the highway. I haven't changed the spark plugs this year, as I do it every spring, but bypassed this year because I didn't wanna sink anymore money into an engine that needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
This car isn't driving any differently or anything. Just sitting at a dead stop and it'll shake just for a second. Like I said this happens once every other day. Once is shakes at a red light it won't do it again.
Thoughts?

If it's going to be rebuilt or replaced don't worry about it!

Maybe so, but I don't know how much longer I am going to keep this engine. Sounds like it's not a simple fix. I thought it would be a COP or something like that.

When was the mass air flow sensor last cleaned? What about the idle air bypass.

Your EGR still hooked up? It may be sticking open when you come to a stop.

I haven't cleaned it in a year, better do that regardless.

93 octane, but from Clark, not Shell. Been going there for years, never a problem.

I feel like an idiot. What's the EGR?

Passenger top side of the engine near the cowl you'll see a round sensor with 2 vacuum lines, a plug on top, and a tube from the exhaust going into the back of it.
Im not sure if yours is disconnected, if not the EGR can stick and cause what you are describing.

What music did you have on the radio? Did shake match the song?

Sam Cooke, but it wasn't Shake, it was Twistin' The Night Away.
