My priorities have changed once again and I must sell this awesome ride. I have been off work for over a year and the job market here sucks. That being said, I want the car to go to someone who understands its past and can see past the blemishes for what it really is.
The car is a 300a, black with charcoal interior with 100,020 miles. Here is the long long list of mods. I have receipts for about 90% of these.
Engine-
2003 Cobra block, rods, and crank. Block bored .010 over with new Weisco forged pistons and total seal rings. Bottom end balanced to the gram and bolted in with ARP rod and main studs. Melling select oil pump, ARP head studs, Cometic head gaskets were also used. The heads were ported and polished by a local legend Chuck Kuhn. All of the plug holes were heli-coiled to the full length thread. The cams are stock Marauder, and a full valve job was completed. The cam covers were powder coated wrinkle black, the front cover was powder coated aluminum, and the coil covers are the "Powered By Ford" version. All new gaskets, timing chains, tensioners, freeze plugs, water pump, SFI Ford Racing flexplate, were used.
Supercharger-
Trilogy #24, ported and polished by Posi Performance. 2.8" upper pulley, 4lb lower pulley on a custom hub for Metco Rings. The throttle body was ported and polished as well. K&N cold air intake, SCT BA3000 mass air meter. I have added a NX 100 shot wet nitrous kit with purge and bottle heater. The gauge was added to the pod next to the boost gauge.
Exhaust-
Kooks long tubes ceramic coated and polished, ceramic coated inside as well, bolted on with Grade 8 locking fasteners. Off road x-pipe into Magnaflow mufflers. The stock tips are there and the resonators have been deleted. The exhaust, in my opinion, needs to be redone from the headers back. There are bad sections that were hastily repaired when it was my daily driver.
Fuel-
2 Ford GT pumps wyed into the feed line with Goodyear submersible fuel line. Zack fuel filter mod. 60lb injectors on the engine, KB disc under the FRPS.
Trans-
4R70W with PI 3500 stall, Trans-go shift kit, completely rebuilt at 90k miles with new clutches and solenoids. The builder added an extra clutch in 1st and 2nd and did the forced rear lubrication mod. A TCI deep pan was also installed.
Drivetrain-
3.5" Dynotech driveshaft, 4.10 gears with 10k on the rebuild, Ford Racing rear cover / girdle.
Suspension-
Addco front and rear sway bars.
Custom tubular rear upper and lower control arms.
Wheels / Tires-
Stock front rims, 255/45/18 Nitto 555 tires
Widened rear rims 1.5", 285/45/18 Nitto 555 tires
All have around 11k miles on them.
Interior-
Pioneer FBT910 DVD/Nav/MP3/CD/XM-Sirus in dash unit with PAC steering wheel controller. I have the original radio that will go with the car. I also have a second driver floor mat with very little wear. This car has the trunk organizer and 6 disc changer.
Exterior-
The paint is not perfect. There are light scratches, door dings, paint defects, and a scuff on the front bumper. I'd give it a solid 6 out of 10. It was my daily driver for nearly 4 years straight.
What extra parts come with the car-
Dash trim with clock
All stock parts I have removed
2 16" steel wheels for slicks
Front license plate bracket
Extra head lights, corners, and fog lights
Stock mufflers
Reprint of the window sticker, DVD, poster, press kit.
The dyno numbers-
All motor on Mustang Dyno 494 RWHP, 525 RWTQ
100 Shot on Mustang Dyno 525 RWHP, 730 RWTQ
SCT Xcal 3 comes with 3 tunes.
The bad parts of the car-
Exhaust, again not perfect but works fine with no leaks.
The paint is not perfect, 6 out of 10.
The car is maxing out the current torque convertor. It will need a convertor with 3000 stall and a triple disc. PI stated it would be $485 for the upgraded convertor with this one taken on trade.
The overhead compass is not working.
The window switch panel has an LED out and will not roll the driver rear window up. It will roll up from the driver rear switch.
It will need a larger heat exchanger, on the dyno the intake air temps were above 100* and ambient temp was around 80*. There is plenty of room for a larger unit.
8-4-11- Just noticed the snout is leaking oil. I'm guessing the seal under the pulley is bad. If I can locate one and have time to install it I will change it.
With all that said, I have nothing to hide about the car. I just want it to go to someone who will take care of it. I have two pay offs involved with the sale. One is for the car, and the other was the $10k I spent on a credit card during the rebuild.
I am asking $14,000for the car as it sits with all the extra parts included. I will ship at the buyer's expense, but I can drive it to a local terminal or to the airport if need be. I will be taking photos tomorrow night and updating this ad. I can be reached for questions at 502- 396 -5233.
