Blower fan won't stop blowing

Was running the a/c this morning and went to turn down the fan speed and the fan will not respond. Turned the a/c unit off and the fan is still blowing. Is the the blower control module gone bad or something else?

certainly not an expert but if I had to guess, I'd say a resistor gone bad. had this happen on my contour.

The MM doesn't have a "resistor". The blower speed is controlled by a separate blower control module that uses a pulse-width modulated signal from the EATC.

Contact SCCheesehead...he had the same issue recently.
