The burnout contest I lost, LOL

Back in 2007, I attended the Southern Super Heavyweight Shootout 7. This was the last time Defyant Marauder has been to the track (I think..). At the end of racing was the burnout contest. I lost to the fancy color smoky ricey Impala.

Anyway, I have not seen a good video of this event until today. Thanks to Rich Long for posting it on youtube.

Still was fun to watch. For those who haven't been to an SSHS event, you're missing a great time. Good racing, lots of good-natured trash talk, and a whole bunch of fun afterwards. Ask me 'n Marauderman how we know... ;)

I haven't raced my car down there, just great sitting and watching the races, having an occasional adult beverage or two, hanging out with the guys later...

Charlie won that hands down. Was the impala electric powered? It sounded a bit wimpy. At least Defyant was a total sensory pleasure...sight, sound, and from the amount of smoke...smell. Someone needs to invent tires that have flavored smoke.... :lol:

Marauder won hands down,that impala looked stupid and sounded like it had a girl scout motor in it.oh well chevys always seem to win ,not fair.people maybe felt sorry for him with that ricer spoiler lol.
