Hey guys, remember me? the 15 year old with a dream of owning a marauder?
Well Im making the first step to owning one. Tomorrow afternoon Im selling my ipad 2(oh yeah, im SOOO SPOILED :coolman:) for $475, then after I sell it, im gonna go down to the bank, open an account, and start saving up all my money. I currently make $80 dollars a month working the sound board at my church, but I am expecting a raise soon to $160 a month. So all thats gonna go into saving, and im really hoping that by may(my birthday) I might be able to get a marauder! its that one thing that I want more than anything else, and im gonna work as hard as I can to get it  expect updates throughout my Marauder Mission! :cool4:

Maybe you can have someone cosign or try to get a bank to finance you with a low intrest rate. I did 2500 down 250month with 7% rate. My credit is not good but what help is that I hade a car in my name before. Good luck man I know how you feel let me know if you ever need any help with anything

I bought my 1st car when I turned 15 after working after school and mowing lawns on weekends for at least a year.
I began customizing it and by the time I got my license it had rims and tires, window tint, custom interior treatment and a beast of a stereo.
Hang in there, be patient. Buy the right car not the one with the lowest price.
Remember: you get what you pay for.

Sounds like you are off to a good start. See what else that you have that you could sell and put that $$$ in the account, too.

and a beast of a stereo.

Keep in mind when I put my stereo in that car,(Circa 1975) at the time state of the art was a Craig Powerplay underdash 8 track, 3 Powerplay amps, and a mixture of Clarion 6X9 3 way plate speakers in the rear deck and Pioneer 6X9s in all 4 doors!

Best advice I can give: Save at least 2/3rds of the money you are making right now, focus primarily on your schoolwork now and get good grades, get into a state college and finish it getting your degree, then you can get a real job and buy all the Marauders you want.

Good luck kid. I cashed in all my life savings on my first car as well.

Remember to put school first, you'll need a job to pay for new mods and gas. ;)

I suggest getting a second job! haha. When I was your age (started at 13) I would mow my neighbors lawns for them. I had about 10-15 clients and would do their lawns after work either with a free push mower I picked up, or I would use their lawn mowers. I would mow the lawns of many widowed elderly women in my neighborhood and would get 10-20 dollars a lawn. Needless to say, I was the richest kid in my middle school! haha. If you REALLY want a marauder, you need to start saving MORE and FASTER.

I only work one day of the week less than 2 hours a day as well. I can get a real job, and be making an extra 160 a month doing very little work at all.
