i keep seeing that part # but ending with a fd at the end will this work on a 03 early marauder

I believe the "BA" is one of the non-audiophile Escape/Mariner unit(there are single and six CD versions)... To the best of my knowledge they use the older 16 pin power/speaker plug and could only be used with an adapter or modified power/speaker plug... Even "rigged" in they don't have the more powerful amp, won't play a Mp3 and are not satellite ready...
