Hello ..
After changing the shock absorbers I have enjoyed about a month with a good driving and great control and feel like I driving a Marauder
But now that I felt was gone and I feel like I driving a normal car and not a Marauder ..
I put Rear Tire 255/55/18 and I change all the shock absorbers
I have a few questions what is normal or expected to Height with the new Tires and new shock absorbers
Because the car now is too low and I can not drive it
Ps the rear shock absorber for the left side broken with in three months ..
all the shock absorbers is OEM and no warrenty for it :mad2::mad2: execpt if i do the work on the dealer for ford :mad2:

Post up a side view picture of you car. It sounds like your air ride switch is off or ride height adjust.

Because the car now is too low and I can not drive it Sounds like the air suspension compressor has failed. That's fairly common.
Do you hear the compressor run when you get in the car or when you add weight?

Due to the language/translation issue, it's hard to tell exactly what is wrong here. If I understand correctly, the rear end of your car is so low you can't drive it. That wouldn't have anything to do with the tires. It sound more like the air suspension system has lowered all the way. That's usually due to the compressor failing, but also could be a blown air bag, faulty air-bag solenoid, or a leak in the line from the compressor to the rear.
Does the car ride really stiff in the back, like there's no suspension travel at all?
Like Burt said ^^^, a picture would help a lot.

the problem is the rear height for my ride
I swap the tires for 255/55/18 and I change all the shock absorbers .. after two months the air compressor dead and I change it for a GM 2001 but the the height is low in the back and the front is upper than the back
I need to adjest or to know the really height for the normal marauder like it a stock one .. I wanna get a picture for it but the time now is night
and I wanna know is there any connection between the height and the rear shock ?? becouse my rear shock is broken now

The rear ride height adjustment is on the DS of the Watt's link. Can't remember which way is up or down. You'll need an 8mm and a 10mm wrench to loosen the nuts. There is a pic of the Watt's link with the slide and the direction you need to slide the nut for up and down. Maybe someone could post it if they have it handy.

It still sounds to me like your air bags are collapsed. You need to get them pumped up again.

That's the big question.
Either the ride height sensor is way off, and it thinks the car is at the correct height when it really isn't, or you have a leak in the system causing the bags to deflate. You really should get the car to someone who understands the air-suspension system in this platform. It's very difficult to troubleshoot over the internet when I can't see or experience exactly what's happening.

There is space between the rear wheel and the fender. I wonder if the ride height adjustment is out or perhaps is slightly loose and moved a bit to alter the stance. Check and see if the adjustment nuts are tight

Ford calls it a "suspension self leveling sensor & bracket" Part # 8W1Z-5359-A, you may also need the lower control arm bracket Part # F8AZ-5A901-CA. Good Luck.

I hope its work ...
the arm is ok but the problem with the sensor I broke it
don't tell me it come with a hole part ( sensor with arm )

Yes, you have to buy the whole thing, or get just what you need from a scrap yard. The part number is actually for a 2008 lincoln town car, so it should be the same as a 2003-2008 town car with air suspension.

I viewed the schematic, the part attaches to the frame and controls the ride height. When the car gets to low, it kicks the pump on, I do not know the part, but that is the purpose. There is some experts on him, give them a bit, they will stumble upon this.
WOOPS. I did not see the other replies.
