OK - I think I now how some of my replies will be on this , but I will go ahead anyway---
My rearview mirror has become more lose over time till now it's just won't keep from virbrating /moving around while motoring around......so .. unless there is a method to tighten it ...will take back to dealer---at least that wasn't a mod they can turn down!!
So ..any help on tightening these things..or just get it replaced by the dealer? Thanks..Tom

Tom:
I believe your DR S/C installation will void the warranty for your entire car, including the glove box, the faux carbon-fibre dash trim, and the rearview mirror...
Seriously, mine's a "little" loose, not enough to impair vision, but it just doesn't feel right....let us know what the fix is, eh?

RF: Your initial comment was what I was expecting--
but , mine is bouncing--- a piece of paper wadded up pinched in the back of it will keep it "still" --but it's not the "look" you want------Yeah--will post fix when I get one...
Anyone else with ideas.............?
I saw this in my rear view mirror this a.m.

OK --The sillies as I expected--but just the same--
anyone know the resolve --seems just get dealer to replace it--
BTW--is it a one piece device, swilving on a ball or different? Can't seem to determine--has that wire for "auto "dimmer thing you know!! So....Am I and RF the only ones with this headache?

I'll have to go out and look at mine (not loose) , but if the loose conection is at the windshield, I believe that a small set screw may have worked loose. It locks the base of the mirror to the mounting tab glued to the glass. The base slides down over the tab and an allen wrench tightens said screw to lock assembly in place.

Had mine replaced on the Sport - the dealer expected it...
It is sorta loose because it is supposed to give if you hit it with your head in an accident is what they said...
Ordered and replaced in a couple days - the new one (2 months now) is still sorta loose - just not as bad...

7:30- 5:00 Mon- Fri. Usually do lunch 1:30-2:30. Call before and I'll check it out. If the impact rivets are loose on the small attaching bracket then I may have to order you one, but if they aren't I can fix it.

For whats it Worth :
I took the MM by frdwrnch's L/M dealership yesterday and he said -yup- mirror
is loose --it has two parts. 1st is attached to the windshield and then the mirror to it. The mirror holder has become loose within the bracket attachment used to slide onto and down on the windshield piece...
....
So,, if you have been putting up with bouncing rear mirrow, difficult to steady and hold still,, take it back in for check--and replacement if needed...
and as a side note--all the wrenchs came over to see their first S/C MM...--never had so many questions thrown to me at once......Whewwww!!!
