Im pretty sure that this process is easy. However, i have searched this site and read through threads on the SVT Performance site and I cant seem to find a "how to" on changing the oil in an Eaton M-112. Can somebody help me out on this? Btw, I have a Cobra M-112 on my vehicle. Thanx in advance.

You can use a spray bottle sprayer. That's what I figured out when I changed the oil in a friends gtp.

Any time I change blower oil, I use a MightyVac. Makes it go real easy and no spills:

And they come in handy for bleeding brakes or testing EGR or IMRC diaphrams, pumping gear oil into rearends, whole bunch of stuff........

Thanks for the tip!
I love Harbor Freight and Northern Tool, but my wife won't let me go in either store unsupervised... ;)

How often do you change your s/c oil and how do you know when it needs it?

I was wondering the same thing, but i figured: My car has 150k on it; i've put 25-30k on the blower myself and it was bought used so who knows the real mileage on it; i just finished a nearly straight through 23hr trip (one way) from TX to MI and back to TX and this is the 2nd time i've done that with this blower on. Not to mention I drive the car fairly hard when im with friends (just to show off). Bottom line; for me...its more of a "better safe than sorry" kinda thing.

I'm planning on changing mine annually. Alot depends on how hard you run your blower (pulley sizem sustained high rpm, etc.).
See the links I poed above for more info.

Right from Eatons website:
Q: How often do I need to change the oil in my supercharger?
A: The sealed oil reservoir in a supercharger is designed to last the life of the vehicle. Changing the oil is not recommended unless you suspect contamination, leakage, or other issues like bearing failure. Also, if your vehicle has an abnormally heavy duty cycle, such as racing or towing, you could consider changing the oil at regular intervals such as 20k, 30k, 50k, or 100k miles depending on usage.
M112 is 215ml/7.3 fl oz to fill.

Wow, thanks for the good info. I had no idea it was that easy. I'll still take mine to Lidio when the time comes so I don't break it.

I pulled my blower off a couple of weeks ago for Posi to do there stuff on and decided I would gut it to save a couple of bucks so I got a good chance to see inside. The snout had a nice even coat of black dirt evenly spread all over the inside of the works.
I am glad I took it apart.
My blower has about 30000 miles on it with a 3.0? pulley on it.
And what makes that oil smell like that?
Did anyone else's stink?
I mean bad, I had to open the doors to my shop and go rinse out my drain pan!
