We have all pretty much seen this before, and yeah, that second one is a load of crap.

Pretty much any color changed or different variation of the Marauder has been discussed at length here. I actually spoke to the owner of the concept Marauder at Carlisle this year. He was parked next to me at the hotel and caught my ear about the car for a little while.

3 Marauder convertibles have been built by Ford over the years (1962, 1964, 2002). All 3 were concepts. This is the only one know to still exist.

I shows up for sale every 12 to 18 months.
Would have been really neat if they'd offered a production MM 'vert; Ida got one for sure.

Most of us know that the car was displayed at the NY Autoshow years ago.
It was on a huge turntable and had a fair amount of lookers on the day I was there.

For real! Why have a tent-top, when you can get solid steel?

I dunno, I have had a few BIG verts,
66 New Yorker
68 Olds 98
I am shopping for Road Runner or GTX vert now.
Its kinda cool to have a drop top.
My Olds was lowered, had cherry bombs and was bright blue. With spun discs on the wheels. Lotsa fun rumbling down Duval street on a Saturday night.
I would definitely rock a MM vert.

I'm with you, boatman...
When we heard there was to be a 2005½ convertible version with a blower, Bunny and I couldn't wait to order it...sadly, we all know what happened. Thanks again, Elena.
