Well the car has been on the shelf for the past 2weeks due to a no start condition because of the starter plus heavy battery cable corrosion. Got a battery cable in the mail from another member on here Wednesday ( thanks Spectragod  ) and got the starter n the mail 2day.

I installed the battery cable yesterday but noticed the altenator connection on the cable is slightly bigger than the stock one on the marauder. The battery cable is from a police pkg vic. Everything thing else appears to be the same except the altenator connection.

My question is how can I make this work without F'n something up? Would I try and splice or solder my stock altenator wire into this battery cable or just break the little plastic mouldings around the connection on the altenator so this one will fit?

Thanks guys, this site has been so helpful to me in building/repairing this car in just 2 months its crazy. I mean in this short amount of time I feel like I kno just as much as the engineers who built the MM!!

Just just the cable from the cop car...;.
In this case bigger is better...LOL

Actually it makes no real significant difference...

I upgraded my 3 electrical wires under the hood to 4AWG thick wire. Never had a problem.

Ok thanks, I just made it fit....it works great but this new starter sucks. Guess that's what I get for buying a $60 eBay starter. It will have to do for now as cash is a little tight right now.....
