Should disconnecting the battery cause the tune to revert to factory setting? I have Reinhart tune but since I got car out of shop it seems the custom tune is gone.
Thanks!

No. How do yo know the tune is gone?

Thanks - I didn't think so but wanted other input. I'm not sure the tune is gone but it feels like the shift points have changed and lower idle RPMS -- only work done at Ford dealer was new master cylinder, coolant flush and seat heater switch replacement.
I have the tuner and tune so if it is gone will re-install.
Thanks again!

There have been instances of dealers updating the factory tune, not knowing that a custom tune was installed. If that happened, the tune that was in the PCM may be gone.

When Ford Service removed the CAI to get to the master cylinder, they did not re-install it correctly. Found this out by hooking up code reader and it was throwing a code for oxygen sensor. She runs puuuurdy now!:banana2:
