SOLD

Well it looks like I'm jumping on the Marauders for sale bandwagon. I have a 2003 Black Mercury Marauder with 68,000mi. for sale. I've owned it since 2008 and bought it with 48,000mi. I've never driven this car in the winter and it's always parked in the garage. The paint shines like new and there are no dents at all(ask my wife, she'll tell you about dropping her off at the door and then parking way in the back). I've always babied this car, back seat has only been sat in once since I've own it, and will be sad to see it go but it's time to move on. Now on to the goodies!

D1SC Procharger bought brand new from Joe Walsh
3-core chin mount intercooler
60lb. injectors
90mm Lightning MAF/with MAFia
255lph Walbro fuel pump
Brand new Vortech mini-race bypass valve
Evenflow Rear head cooling mod
Bigger fuel filter
Aux. trans cooler
2800 Triple disc PI stall converter/J-mod
4.10 gears
31-spline Ford axle shafts
Autometer Electric Boost gauge installed in center console
Dual Aeroforce Gages on pillar
My own Billet rear control arms using stock bushings
Widened rear wheels with Nitto 555 295/45R18
Baer Big Brake kit up front
Dead Pedal by BigCars4Ever
FRPP shorty headers with Pypes off-road x-pipe. Stock from mufflers back
Car was dyno tuned by Bob Kurgan to 425rwhp 400lb/ft. torque
Asking price is $16,000 obo.
The car is currently at 10psi and is safely tuned for years of enjoyment. I love this car and do not beat on it and has only seen the track once. It did run a 12.8 at 109mph before the converter, j-mod, and headers(on street tires). If you have any questions please email at blazen_71@yahoo.com or call 262-370-9647. Please keep phone calls before 10 pm central time. Thanks for your interest and everyone's help to get my car to this point.

Price drop to $16,000. I still drive the car once a week to keep things moving. That's almost enough time to forget how much power this car has!

Not sure yet. Definitely something I am willing to drive year round. No matter what it will not be as cool and powerful as my Marauder:bigcry:

For a member of a car club to use the taint it with a low ball public offer is wrong.

We see a pattern of public low ball offers for car after car with the amount all over the place. This proves the person is not limited to X amount and trying to get a car for that amount.

What they are doing is trying to drive the price down by publicly offering a low bid. Publicly tagging the car with a low bid.

Do we need members like this? Are we trying to compete with Craigs List or EBay?

This is just ridiculous. That car along with so many other fine examples is the very reason I'll probably just take trade in and not deal with this kind of modern society. At least it would be a quick done deal, and take a serious loss and not take forever to still make NOTHING. I think from now on we should just start pricing these in the high teens/low twenties where they belong. After some time goes by, the real offers will make there way back. GLWS, but you are lowballing your own self at $15.

I agree JB, how long would it take to sell a use car in this market? People come buy to test drive the car just to think about it.

GLWS. Did not mean to Hijack.

That is a good deal. And I would not trust a shipping company with anything I paid hard earned money for.

Me and my son flew down to Fl and drove it back to Mi non-stop. Great bonding experience too.
