Metco is popular and I believe is easy to install.

Is it specific to the MM's?

I'm thinking about just getting the one from Summit for the stangs.

If your underside is rusted any throw some PB Blaster on the seat bracket bolts under the car.

Oh nice, no drilling but gota remove the driveshaft, well. It'll have to come out anyway if I swap it.

Nice. Thanks guys.

I have a welder and would much rather go hillbilly route but I don't have the materials or skills to properly bend it.

Good job.

Metco....driveshaft is a breeze to drop as long as you are high enough off the ground (and if you've got air tools unlike me I'm sure its even faster)....

I gotta say though, under my car is clean and rust but free learned the PB Blast lesson after shearing/swearing/drilling/drilling/ez out/drilling/swearing
my way through the passenger side seat bolt....DS didn't want to come out either but a little heat changed that....other than that a quick/safe mod.

Best,
Jonathan

Here's mine. Not sure of brand or what year mustang. I figure there is plenty enough here to make it fit, plus it is fully adjustable. $25 shipped was more than fair.

As far as a homemade, go to a plumbing supply house and get a small piece of scrap 6" ductile iron water service pipe. You will NOT break that even if you had 12 driveshafts...
