I would reall like one, but considering the price and the issues with it laying flush, do you think its worth the money and look to buy one still or get really nice fiber-glass hood scoop (cowl ind) and have it professional installed:confused: im looking for some feedback, im getting ready to have my car painted.:D

I think it would depend on your application, I put a class glass hood on my MM, countless hours of fitting and prep are required. That said.....

It is rather inexpensive, but, if I had to do it over, I would fab a scoop on a steel hood with the scoop being steel as well.

I guess it comes down to, how much money do you want to put into it, the glass hood is cheaper, steel would be more, but would last forever and not have any of the issues a glass hood has.

I had a fiberglass cowl from a Mustang hood bonded onto my steel hood. It has the contour I like, much nicer than the class glass hoods. But it's heavy.

I built a cowl induction hood out of sheet metal onto a sheetmetal hood.
I wanted a hood that didn't look like it was made for a Chevy or anything other than
the application I intended it for.
In this case it was my 68AMX Here is the url for it

As you can see it resembles only an amc hood not any other hood. Just my 02 cents
worth. There is a lot of Math involved because I want a certain look as you will see.
