Continental Cross or Extreme Contact

I put a set of the ExtremeContacts on my Infiniti M35 Sport, more than 12000 miles and happy with their performance. Considering some for the Merc.

I have a set of rims with the cross contact. 255/45-18. Good all around tire for my application. My neighbor has the extreme contacts on his mazda 6 and is very pleased with them as well. I would venture to say that it depends on which vehicle you are putting them on...marauder equals extreme contact, while lesser vehicles would suffice with the cross contact.

I have CrossContactUHP on the rear of the Marauder. I don't drive in the snow or rain so I don't know how they perform. They're wearing normally though.

My mom had ExtremeContactDWS on her Grand Am all the way around and she loved them, rain, snow, ice, whatever.
