The repaint is on schedule and almost done. The paint was laid down over this past weekend. He laid it on pretty damn thick. Very cool.

The blue pearl is subtle. If you're not looking at the car in sunlight, it's barely visible, just adds the slightest hint of an alternate color. Look at it in the sun and it really pops in a good way.

Lots and lots of wet sanding to be done this week, but should be back for the weekend so I can think about getting the Supercharger install done next week!

More pics in the gallery!

PS - We shaved the rear Mercury Emblem off and filled the hole, but unfortunately, the ABS plastic spoiler doesn't lend itself to blending permanently with the body. Since the plastic is so thin, we're afraid of expansion/contracting with varying temperatures causing the paint over the joint to crack, so we opted not to do it...

Just got my first good ding on left front fender-- small chip of paint gone--looks like when there art enough of them --we'll all be doiing it--except mine has already has one on the books----

Nice look Logan!! I will consider adding some paint schemes the next time as well....

Stopped by the paint shop this morning (Monday) and Logan's car was still there---no top coat and no grill

It's not due to be done until later this week. They're still wetsanding the clearcoat.

Curious about the cost of this? Can you share?

Dunno. It's under warranty, except for the bag of pearl, which is setting me back a few hundred bucks.
