I have the motor that came out of another Marauder that I recently helped install an aluminator and a Trilogy blower on and just took out the #5 piston. I noticed when I took the heads off that that piston was actually hitting the head. I assumed it was the rod bearing and found the bearing spun and actually ate away at the crank. The difference in material being worn away allowed the piston to be thrown into the head. The clean areas on the piston is where the metal to metal contact occurred.

So this was his STOCK marauder motor?
Yup! With only 44k on it. No power adders on this motor.
