Fuel Pump part numbers? Make/Model

I have been researching fuel pumps and as some of you know I need to replace mine.

I have a stock setup and do not plan extensive mods but read that I can still upgrade the fuel pump.

There has been discussion of a Focus SVT pump. What year Focus SVT pump is interchangeable?

I read the GT40 pump has gone up in price so I think that is no longer an option.

Reinhart mentions a cobra and GT pump but what year is interchangeable?

I could not find that FORD sells just the pump. Am I wrong?

Not sure, But while I was in the fuel tank I replaced the whole assembly. You don't have too but brought me peace of mind and was not hard to do. Thanks to some good tips from the one and only MM.Net. heee heee:D

Rock Auto has the stock one for $111 less 5%. The Focus SVT one for a 2003 is only $78. It doesn't seem correct that the better SVT one is less money?

Yea does sound fishy, is that just for the pump? I know I paid too much, but at the stealership it was 270.00 or so for the assembly and that was at a discount through a friend. But it's been working great.....:beer:

Yes those prices are for the pump only. Not the entire assembly.
