30 MPH/!000RPM sounds about right for 410 gears.

If im not mistaken at 60 with 3.55 you should be at 2k.

Jack up the rear and get both rear tires off the ground (use jack stands). The ratio is whatever number of turns of the wheels it takes to turn the driveshaft turn one revolution and divide by two eg: 6 turns = 3.00:1 ratio.

60MPH ~>2200RPM = 4:10's
60MPH ~<2000RPM = 3:55's

got cha. thanks
Block the front tires, jack up the rear of the car (both tires up)..place trans in neutral. Place a mark on the drive shaft, rotate a wheel (both will turn together) ONE complete turn while counting the rotations of the drive shaft. About 3 1/2 turns on shaft equals 3.55, just over 4 equals 4.10.

Use this gear calculator and pick several specific gear, speed, RPM combos and see what matches up to all of them.

Is your speedometer correct? I tried 4.10's with a 3.55 tune and it ran through the gears like you mentioned and the speedo was off.

I was going to suggest the tire rotating idea, but fastblackmerc beat me to it by a few seconds. I'd forgotten the /2 bit so I didn't see any point in keeping misinformation in this thread and removed my text.

60MPH for me when I had 3.55's was 1725RPMS. :P I was also running 255/55-18 tires though. lol
I don't think I've even really paid attention to what the rpms are now with 4.10 gears and 265/50-18 tires.

If your speedo is correct, you do not have 4.10s. Im almost at 2500RPMs at 75mph.

You still have to confirm if your speedometer is correct or not. That will be the tell tale. Your speedo may be showing 70 mph at 2200 RPM but meanwhile your really doing 65 at 2200 RPM. which would mean that you do in fact have 4.10s or your tire diameter size is set wrong in the tune.
Either one of these will make it run through the gears much faster then it should.

Yes with a tune the shifts are firmer and faster than stock. Add in the Jmod and they are super quick and a whole lot firmer. I can chirp 2nd at 60% and up throttle and that's with my 1-2 shift pressure set at zero or -5% I believe.

i don't know if a jmod is done or not but i have a handheld tuner i haven't plugged it up because i don't want to change or ruin anything since i haven't used it before

If you have any type of gps device it will tell you your actual speed while your driving and compare that with what your speedometer says. I have 4:10's with the correct tune and my speedometer is still about 6mph off but that's due to the fact I'm not running a big enough tire on the rears....

Do you have an adroid phone? If so download a speedo program and check it against the gps speed.

Then you should correct the Revs Per Mile in your tuner or have whoever you got the tune from adjust the tune to what size/Revs Per Mile your rear tire is.
What size tire are you running?

I got 235/50 on there right now and they are almost finished and I'm going to get the 265/50 if they ever come off backorder, or maybe 255/55 if I can't find the nittos....when I bought the car last year it had 235/50 all the way around and I said I would just replace as they wore out. So the fronts were the first to go about 2 months ago and i got 255/45 Hankooks up there now
