I got sick and tired of coming home in my truck or going out to go somewhere in the Marauder and finding the dang trunk OPEN!!!:mad2::argue:
It seems the trunk release and "Panic" button need to be harder to push since they often get pushed by other junk in my pocket!!!
Easy fix is to either take a small "O" ring or cut a sliver of silicone fuel hose (Weed Whacker) and place it over (around) the switch inside the FOB so you have to compress it before the switch is activated......WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!!:banana2:
My "Trunk" button now requires about 3X the pressure to activate!!! :D
Our Chrysler requires two presses on the FOB button to open the trunk...probably for this very reason!!
TADA!!;)
