I bought new outer door lower window moulding/felts and spent 1/2 hour using the "search" function.
No joy for me.
Anybody know how to get the pieces off?

I am assuming you are talking about this piece...but on the outside?

If so where did you get your replacement and how much? I was able to remove the inside on mine, but thought the outside was on with bolts? Both my inside and outside on my drivers window looks like a dog chewed on it...wtf?!

There is one nut that can be accessed from the rear door face just below the back edge of the moulding. The remaining fasteners are clips that hold on to the edge of the window opening.
Remove the nut and work the moulding straight up from back to front. When installing attach the front edge and work your way back.
This is one of those cases where you use patience as a verb and "patience" the moulding off and on. Good luck.

I'm going to replace my outers as they have the dreaded bubbled up rubber look. I believe they are called 'belt with strip' and can be ordered from Tasca parts.com for $25.00 to $40.00 each depending driver or pass. side, front or rear doors. I don't know why one side costs more vs the other. If you search thru tasca parts or another ford parts locale, search via 'door molding' I'll be ordering mine so I would be interested as well in proper removal. I do know that at the end of the molding, where the door jamb is there is one bolt to secure then I am quessing some sort of clips along the edge of door and glass area.

I already bought the parts from Ford.
I am just doing my homework.
My therapist would probably quit if I scratched my car!!

Do the outside mirrors have to come off?
I am replacing mine due to the @#%& bubbles too. 3 of 4 already have it so I'm doing all 4.

Yup that's the ones.
I paid $130 for all 4

Open the driver's door and look at the end of the moulding. You'll see a nut under the lip that secures it on the door. Remove the nut, pull the moulding up so the stud clears the door and pull towards you. The left rear door moulding nut can be seen when the driver door is open by the ledge where that moulding sits. Repeat for the right side.
