Another MM new owner!!!

Hi everybody, got my DTR on August 20th. Purchased at a Virginia dealership. Who's Marauder was this--anyone want to come forward?:D Well, she survived the horrendous winds and rain of "Irene". No trees falling or branches flying around in our immediate neighborhood.

First, thanks to "Seneca" for giving me the lead to this purchase;)

Second thanks to "Bluerauder and Mrs. Bluerauder" for meeting us at the dealer and cheering me on:banana: (Charlie did a "drive-by" to check it out!!!)
And finally BIG thanks to "Fordfrk" who put off retirement a bit longer, as he has to help me support the (his & hers) Marauder "habit":D:D (well, I can't retire either for that matter)

I've been sitting here biting my tongue for the past 9 days trying to keep Connie and Jack's secret. Nobody even picked up on the "subtle" hints that she has been dropping for the past week. First was the change of Avatar with the DTR pic. Then the caption under the Avatar that she "Finally got it". She then posted in a couple threads about bringing the Marauders out to a meet at the Cars and Coffee meet in Maryland. NOBODY picked up on it.

I stopped by the Dealer on the way home from work on 17 August and made a detailed checklist of everything I found out for Jack and Connie. Told them that it was definitely worth taking a trip down here to see it first hand for a final decision.

The rest is history .... and we capped off the purchase with a late lunch at Red Robin in Manassas.

Congrats Connie (and Jack) .... it is looking really good. :D Glad that Bernie and I could be a part of the process. :up:

And yes .... the mudflaps are a perfect DTR match.

I was prepared to snatch it up myself if you passed on the opportunity. ;)
