Name is James and am from SE Michigan. I don't own a MM but I am a big fan of all Panthers.
I was looking for info on shift points. I want my 1995 Ford Thunderbird V8, with a upcoming Marauder torque converter upgrade to shift at the same times as the Marauder. Based on what I have found, it looks like people are shifting at 6000 RPM at WOT. Is this about right?
Anyway, my Thunderbird has the following:
- 3.73 gear with 6 clutch Trak-Lok
- Lincoln Mark VIII aluminum driveshaft
- Ford Mustang Aluminum dual piston brakes
- SCT Tuned by American Motorport using a X3 tuner
- Steeda UDP
- Blue interior with 1990 SuperCoupe seats
- Upcoming MM Torque Converter, J-MOD, Trans cooler
- 15.4 @ 89MPH 1/4 mile
Check out my website.. http://www.fordthunderbird.net
Thanks!

Yes I am.. I started out in the mid 16s when I first got her in 2008. She is heavy with the IRS (curb wright of 3530LBS). Our cars never got the PI engine, but the newer 1996-1997 models can add PI heads and Intake. Our engines are more similar to the 1992-1997 CV and Town Car.
According to your timeslips, I am getting closer to what your stock Marauders do in the 1/4. If I can do 15 flat, that would make me happy.

I was going to say, with the work you have done, it seems like you should be faster. Post some pics of your machine.
