New Cobra Jet Mustang spanks Hemi Cuda for super stock A automatic class (SS/AA) which at one time was owned by Hemi Cudas.
BTW Mustang goes 8.35 e.t.. Enjoy.:)

OK - I'm glad that Ford is bringin' it with the Cobra Jets but this was not a smackdown (from what I could read).
The Cuda went 1 for 2 and from what I saw from the race video, it looked like (could have been the camera angle) the Cobra had a bit of a head start off the line.

P.S. Remember, my first car was a '70 340 Six-Pak Cuda (Sorry, still got a bit of MOPAR blood runnin' through my veins).

The Cobra had at least a 1/4 panel start off the line.
My only rationale for my responses is that the Hemi (Super) Cudas were some BAD A** cars at their time and for all times.

Mark,
I understand that there is nothing wrong with being true to your (former) brand.
My third car was a 70 boss 302 Mustang that locked horns with a few AAR Cudas back in the day with varying results. lol.;)

Those old school 426ci n/a Hemi's are bad ass and more than hold their own against the newer technology, forced induction, 5.4s.
