Hello folks. My name is Daryl, I'm born and raised in Detroit, but but living in Texas since 2009. I'm currently active duty serving in the U.S Army and i just literally returned from a 12 month deployment tour to Iraq two weeks ago. I am 23 years old and I'm looking to buy me a Mercury Marauder. I read the forums quite frequently but finally decide to create a username and get involved more.

Welcome, and thank you for your service. There's a couple of great buys in the for sale section, I think there is a red with a blower and low mileage

Thanks a lot guys for all the support. Just an update on my situation. Me and Todd (BODYMAN) have been talking for the past few days. Right now I am in the process of buying his from him. I will have a check from my bank, and will either be flying to Missouri to pick it up later tomorrow or early morning Thursday. He gave me a great deal, and its well worth it IMO best bang for my buck.

I am the new proud owner of a 2003 mercury marauder. Thanks again Todd (BODYMAN). I flew in to St Louis from Texas to pick her up. Todd picked me up in her from the airport. I think it was love at first sight when I first laid eyes on her. Everything I wanted in a car. Thanks again Todd, very very smooth transaction.

After 15 hours of driving back to Texas I definitely need to clean her up and post some pics up. Can't wait til I get her back on the road. Not sleeping for 30+ hours made me sleep for about 13 hours.

Thanks Daryl! Also a pleasure dealing with you between the 2 of us we made this a very simple transaction. I really knew how much you liked it after we stopped so we could look it over before dark. That car has gotten more complaiments then any other I have ever owned. For me though Daryl it didnt sink in till I handed you the sets of Keys and I watched it driveaway. I think the hardest part of selling her to me was the fact of how good she has been to me. Like I mentioned Daryl this very well may be one of the few times I will look back and regret selling a car:) Shoot I didnt even show you her parking spot either in my heated garage, she parked on carpet in there My friends laugh at me about how I took care of her. Them cutouts are pretty neat arent they? Like we talked almost sounds like car dies after closing them. I gotta get a set for my SB. I have owned 3 MM's and will say of the 3 she was probably the most solid had I not had a bunch $ wraed up in the SB I woulda kept the black. Guys Daryl was so pumped the poor guy left my house and drove 14hrs straight after being up all day:eek:... Enjoy her and please stay in touch. On the other thing we talked about let me know..

Todd PS I forgot to tell ya with buying that car means you have to stay active on the board..

I was determined to make it to my cousins family event, I mad it in great time. They all liked the car also. I will stay active on here also, especially seeing there are no deployments in my near future *knocks on wood*
