This one has 10 x 10mm red LEDS.

Installing SMD LED panels instead.

Can do it with or without the "MARAUDER" overlay.

Can also add a flasher - when you hit the brakes the CHMSL will flash rapidly for a second or two then come on steady. Great way to bring attention to the CHMSL for safety.

Would have to send me the light since it's not easy to take apart... the car can be driven without it...

I thought i read somewhere that a led chisml will mess with the cruise control. Larryo would have the answer to this. LARRYO!!!!! But i do want one.



EDIT: Upon further reading it seems the cruise control will not set if all of the tail light are led's.

The cruise control uses the CHMSL to see that the brake light is working, and if it doesn't see resistance it won't allow the cruise to be set.

I've had the one pictured on my Marauder for 2 years... NO cruise control issues what so ever.

I can get the individual LEDs (there are 10, 10mm red LEDs in the CHMSL pictured) any time.

Looking for a source to make SMD LED panels in the correct size, at a fair price.

The "MARAUDER" overlay will add about $15.00 or less to the cost.

This is very labor intensive as the CHMSL is all plastic that is welded together, so it have to be carefully cut apart.

Sure, I can supply the LEDs. Either the ten (10) mm red LEDs (much more work involved) or two(2) LEDs to replace the OEM bulbs (easier to do).

Just an FYI.... There is alot of work involved cutting apart the CHMSL as the parts are welded together.
