After doing the complete Eaton swap, I decided to keep it N/A and run the Eaton on my 93 Cobra with a built 4.6. I'll be selling the brackets, heat exchanger, pulleys, coolant res, intercooler pump, modified coolant crossover. Most everything is new, just mounted on the car and 30 min run time in the garage.
I'll post pics and prices when I get more time. If theres anything you thing you might want, let me know. Thanks

For those guys considering Eaton swaps, this is a great package, lotsa good parts here.
The brackets and modified COT alone make it worhtwhile. Depending on pricing, I'm thinking about picking the sutff up on speculation.

I'm going to show my ignorance here but what is that pulley that sits between your blower and alternator? Some have it some don't. What's it for.

Are you referring to the blower belt tensioner on the left side? (If you're facing the engine.)

Vortech sc's have a bracket on the left for the sc itself. The Eatons have to have two brackets, one for the tensioner pulley for the sc belt and one for reversing the alternator.

This is actually a good question. i believe that pulley is from the cobra front dress.

I thought that pulley just help keep more tension along with the tensioner on the blower belt so there is less slip.
More for suited I thought for the higher boosted blower set ups.
Isn't that Gortch's front set up?

You may be right. I've never seen his upgraded brackets. But i do know that the pulleys location is the same as, or similar to the cobras dress

I couldn't see the pic when I initially brought up the thread.
Yup, that's Terry's new bracket design. Additional belt tensioner, IIRC. His older style brackets only have the tensioner and pulley on the left side.

Yup.
I'm running the "lower" hp tensioner bracket on mine and it's working well. I'm set up with a stock upper and two lb. lower putting out 10.5 lbs boost and no issues with belt slippage.
I think guspech750 is running the same tensioner, but has a smaller upper pulley, maybe he'll chime in on how well his is performing.

So far so sweeeeeeeet!! Minor belt slip at 6,500 rpms so I lose about 1 psi. 11 psi to 10 psi. Big deal!!

I know the question has been answered, but I'd like to add something. That tensioner causes more belt "wrap" which in turn helps to keep the belt from slipping. More surface area equals less slip. Some may go with this style setup in conjunction with an eight rib belt to further reduce slippage.

Brackets and belt tensioner are gone (someone got a heck of a deal, BTW).
40 amp boost-a-pump, intercooler coolant reservoir, ider pulley, and coolant crossover w/DR head cooling mod look like they're still for sale.
Prices are listed in the post. I doubt he's going to go lower, they're already listed at a more than fair price.

Not a bad deal on this stuff.
The hub and ring combo are a good way to go with a stock upper. will net you 10 to 11 lbs boost.

I don't see what the problem would be putting a ported Eaton on a stock motor. As long as the boost levels are at a lower level to compensate the higher rate of air flow.
Others have done it before and others will do it again.

No doubt it is not a problem like you said just keep boost within reason! Not to mention ported with lower boost will help charge temps!!!
