Can anyone suggest a St. Louis area shop that can upgrade
my Marauder from 3:55 to a 4:10? About what is a fair price?

Check with the local Mustang clubs. The 8.8 rear is the same.

You'd know if you had 410s. I believe jack up the rear end and 1 full spin of your tire should turn the drive shaft 4 times. Easiest way to know for sure.

If you're at 2500RPM doing 75MPH you have 4:10's.

You can just hook up with Alternative Auto. I think in Chesterfield.
You'll have to purchase the gear set and have it installed by a professional.

He's going to need a tuner as well to fix the shift points and speedo. Lido at Alternative can hook him up here as well.

Get in touch with Alternative and let Lido know what you want or are going for. SCT 3 are like 380 if memory serves. Believe this includes the tune but would double check on that.

Not true at all. 4.10's are a blast. They were on my DD that had nitrous.

Generally no, but the 4.10's will make your car more zippy so if your prone to a heavy foot maybe but that would also kill a 3.55 rear too.:burnout:

I also hear with the 4:10s it kills your engine and transmission life..is this trueYes...if you're talking about a 1970 Torino with 14" wheels. You need to talk to people who's knowledge has been updated in the last 40 years. ;)
