View Full Version : For Sale 79 f250, 300, dana 60s, 4 speed

well after putting a TON of time and money into this truck, im deciding to sell it

its a 79 f250 with dana 60s front and rear. NEW reman 300 long block with only 150 miles on it. it has a np435 trans mission and np 205 t-case. truck fires right up an purs like a kitten. has a offenhouser 4bbl intake with a holley 390 cfm carb. EFI manifolds and y pipe with one cat and a flow master 40 series.

the body is decent for around here, could use a drivers side cab mount, a replacement panel came with the truck when i bought it and will go with the truck when it sells. does have some other typical 6th gen rust. the truck needs a headunit and speakers put in, it didnt come with one when i bought it. the truck could also use a set of tires, i have a good used set that will go with the truck if my asking price is met.

many new parts on this truck the list is as follows:

complete exhaust system
intake
carb
motor
front calipers
front pads
front shocks
master cyl
front brake lines
clutch
fly wheel
air cleaner
belts
water pump
all gear lube changed
fuel pump
dist cap and wires

im sure im forgetting stuff

one other thing is that there is no tail gate on this truck, if the asking price is met i will include one from another truck

the truck is titled in my name with title in hand and tagged for 2 years in delaware. im asking $3500 obo. anyway you cut it im loosing alot of money

That's a decent price in WI. Not sure what older trucks typically look like by you . GLWS

they dont usually look like this which is why i decided to put alot of money into this one but seeing as i just bought another truck tonight this one has to go.

I ran into a guy this summer that had a Kaiser M715 with a spring over and a 6BT transplant. That is my dream truck!!!!!

After all the work and money you put into that, you should hang on to it for at least a little while...BTW: How's she run with the 4bbl?

Will you buy my Marauder, put on an Eaton swap kit like you did for Rex, and then let put the Marauder up for sale to me at 1/2 price??.....:D

yeah i just wanted something newer and ive been itching for a 460 truck and ive always wanted one of these crew cabs so i just had to buy it. you might just see that 79, its going to a member here down your way :D
