Hi everyone,
I'm in the market for a Marauder in the Houston area and I'm a big Ford guy. My wife and I have owned 5 Mustangs including a 2003 Cobra (with a 3.4L whipple), 2001 Convertible with a 03 Cobra conversion and 2.3L whipple, 1998 Cobra, 1996 Cobra, and a 1995 GT. I still have my jacked up and suped up 2005 Excursion 4x4 Diesel but it's on its way out. Already have a son that is 4 years old and my new daughter is popping out in a couple weeks.
I am deciding to get a Marauder because I miss the Mustang and Muscle car scene and have a motor sitting around that is begging to go in something. It's 5.5L big bore stroker based off the 4.6L. It's got race ported C heads, Bullet racing custom cams, Sonny bryant billet stroker crank, Manley Pro billet rods, L&M spec diamond racing pistons, Darton MID wet sleeves in a teksid block, so on and so on. Running low compression it should make about 475 flywheel hp! I figure an awesome ride like the Marauder would just love this motor and my whole family could have fun with me!
Sorry, not trying to brag but I'm proud of that motor and just can't wait to stuff it in something.
Is there a decent size Houston group?

Thanks guys! Currently looking at a Toreador Red one. They are going to give me a decent deal on my Excursion as trade in so I just might take it.

Hey -
There's a Black 03 in South Philly without a motor.
I think that you could get it for far less than the $6K that's being asked:

Alright! Picked up the Marauder! Got home too late to take any good pictures. I'll give her a good detailing and take some pictures at some point this week though! I'm impressed! Thing rode so smooth!
