I received a Peoples Choice award for best non mustang with my black MM at the Park City Mustang show.

I had that car looking SWEEEET. I miss the black sometimes. It was also before the paint fell off.

That was in a free lance artist park in Long Island city. Thats also a real Trans Am on top of there.

Only entered 3 car shows. One in 2006, one in 2007 and one in 2008. Got a runner up in 2006, a first in 2007 and a fridge magnet and a t-shirt and a lot of compliments in the one from 2008, up at Jr's high school.

I snagged another one Saturday... First Place in my class...1977-2005 Ford Products (Except Mustangs)...There were over 250+ cars in the show... This could get addictive... lets see it costs $25.00 to enter and they give you a $4.00 trophy....yea this makes sense...:rolleyes:

NOT SAYING THAT THIS IS THE CASE FOR ANY OF THE TROPHY WINNERS ABOVE, but too many shows that I've entered my Galaxie in lately are giving out trophies for nothing.

Seems like if you show up with a halfway decent car under it's own power, you leave with something.

I'd rather get a "best 20" trophy (not a #1, 2, 3.. ranking, just a group selection) instead of bringing home a trophy that doesn't mean much.

I also don't like being judged against a brand new Mustang, Corvette, Challenger, or Camaro that someone drove off the showroom last week, polished, and drove to the show.

There's no way my 64 Galaxie (213,000 miles) could ever look as clean, neat, or shiney as my 03 TBird (19,000 miles). Not a fair comparison.

These are the only trophies for a car that I have. I use to take my Camaro SS to the Chevyvette Fest. It was a 3 day event held at the McCormick Place at the time during the winter. So naturally I drove my car there in the snow, ice and salt only to spend countless hours cleaning it as most peeps trailered their cars. And what is great about the awards is that my car was judged by 3 judges. So I take a lot of pride in that fact that I won some nice awards for the 1997 Camaro SS I used to own and was recognized for all the hard work I put into it.

This is the Gold Spinner Award. I scored 950+ points out of a 1000 to earn it.

This framed picture and certificate I really love. The Judges liked my car so much that I was invited to the Showcase that year. The Showcase is by invitation only and my car was chosen to represent the evolution of the Camaro display. At the time. The Camaro was not being made any more. So I am really proud of that honor.
