Front Tire Size other than Stock

Ok I have one size up larger Dunlop tires in the back and its time for new front tires. I'm looking for Dunlops in the front as well but I would like to know what size I can use besides the 235/50/R18's? What is the best size for one size up in the front?

I'm running a combo of 255/45-18 up front and 265/50-18 on the rear.

Check on Dunlops website or tirerack.com and find the current rear tire model you are using and see if they have a 245/45-18 or 255/45-18. I'm guessing you are running a 255/55-18 on the rear correct?

255/45/18 is real close to OEM diameter.

235/50/18 = 27.25" OD

255/45/18 = 27.03" OD

The guys runnning Nitto 420S in the front are using 235/55/18 (28.17" OD)

If you pair these up with 255/55/18's in the rear, you'll still have a stagger combination that will work with the T/C.

Also with doing 255/45-18 in the front it would look a lot better if the car is lowered in the front. Going from stock to the new size did increase the wheel gap space.
