I've set and use the HL for my garage all the time but I have residence elsewhere that has a card for gate access. So now when it rains I have to get wet just to use this darn card. Is there a way to sync the car to this type of system?

Its called a proxy card -and yes you can program your extra button to open the gate as well--pretty much the same as your garage opener---try it---with no cars behind you --should work the same ---then you wioll have a second button programmed for it--

can you explain how? i was easy for the garage because both were in program mode. im lost on how to do it for the gate
