I Got a new tune a week ago but I noticed that when I'm at a stop light and once I start driving the RPMS go up to*3200 - 3400*before it shifts to 2nd gear and honestly I think that's to high. All the other shifts are perfect. My question is that if I could change that on my x3 and if I could how would I change it. It's just the 1st to 2nd shift. Thank you

Don't believe so. You'll have to have the person that tuned it adjust it for you.

You can go into the shift points and lower them on the X3 if the tuner left some control for you to tweak things. Lower it 2mph or more and see how it is.

I believe it only adjusts the WOT shift points in the xcal. Too many TP/RPM variables to be able to adjust it in the xcal.

Crap! You're right Chris! It's only WOT shift points. Sorry. Casual driving, you will have to have a tuner personalize your setup to what you like.

.In stock trim the motor is lazy [my opinion ] The trans shift quickly through the gears at moderate rpm [epa fuel economy] -[another Federal issue ] -With the excal tune the shift points are adjusted and at 40 miles per hour ,you can tap the accel and the trans will shift back and not stay in lock up. Also under hard accel you get quicker kick down and the engine revs higher .After the tune my snap on Ethos showed the torque output was up to 350 ft lb's. [The engines are governed at the factory ] Im no expert but this is my personal observation. Reinhart tune was used

I had to have my tuner play with the shift schedule to get it where I want. In fact I just called this morning to have the TC lockup adjust during normal driving.
