Some of you have been contacted by Charlie (Bluerauder) recently to remind you of registration. He made the list by the members who voted in the poll about attending MV9. He's not doing it because he has nothing better to do, he's doing it because its very important that in order for the places that are holding all our planned events to be prepared for us they need accurate head counts.
The Civil war museum needs a headcount so they can provide us with the pre-paid tickets, the Strausburg railroad needs a headcount so they can also provide the pre-paid tickets and have enough train cars to provide seating for all of us, the AACA museum also requires a headcount for its tickets for entry along with the seating arrangement for our award and raffle presentation, the Hollywood casino banquet dinner is VERY dependent on headcount due to the seating arrangements and how big of a room they will provide for us, this is also true with the farewell breakfast that is planned.
In addition, T-shirts, goody bag items, voting ballots, door prizes, and all the added perks that come along with a Marauderville will be missed by those who decided to skip on the registration.
We keep hammering this point into the ground to make sure we are prepared and have everything covered. We are priding ourselves in our planning on how prepared and smooth this will run each day. We paid fine attention to detail in every which way, but its mostly dependent on a accurate head count.
Those who just show up without registering can expect the price of the events to be more then double the registration cost and can expect to be told that they will not be able to be involved with events due to the fact that we simply don't have the room to accommodate you.

If this is on your agenda even for a few days out of the week, please register so we have you on our list and are prepared for you.

October 1st is the deadline.
