First time I've seen this news short. Also the first article I've come across that mentions Steve Babcock.
Probably a repost but thought I'd throw it out there.:)

Anybody ever met this Bill Dear guy?
I met and talked with Bill Dear on July 20, 2002 at the IMOA meet in Belleville, MI. That's where I took this picture of the 2 concepts together. He's the one who told me the 1998 SEMA concept car was repainted with the flames and had the 5.8 pushrod engine in it. He also told me that Bill Ford wanted to build the convertible, but didn't have the money to do it. And he said that all Marauders were hand sanded at the factory to eliminate any orange peel. It's the one and only time I talked to him.

Have to ask Steve Babcock if this Bill guy is still around. Be cool to get them both up on a platform to commiserate the MM project.
