Hey guys!

I am right now trying to gauge interest in selling my 2005 Town car.

I've come to the realization that maybe owning 2 expensive cars outright may not be the brightest idea in these economic times. I could manage it, but it's just a lot of coin to have on the street instead of in a bank account.

The Good: Tires are all matching Michelins OEM with more than half life. Everything in the car works including the FULL-POWER trunk. There are no dings, dents, bumps or bruises on this car with the exception of a quarter sized scratch on the rear bumper. The rear seats are like BRAND NEW, and the only person that has been back there was my girlfriends 90 LB 11 yr old son. It tracks straight, and gets over 28 MPG on the road, and a combined total of 23...I cannot recall ever getting less than 21 on a tank of fuel, ever.

The Kinda-sorta-not-so-really-bad:

The carfax does show an accident back in 2007. The bumper cover is the ONLY PORTION of the car to have ever been repaired. It was done so well in fact that I only figured out the car was in an accident a month and a half ago VIA carfax. I had my suspicions the bumper was redone...it was matched so perfectly I can't even say this is a negative!

I'm open to offers, and this car is my daily...Currently shows 59,500 miles.

Gorgeous car. If you're straight up and honest about the accident on the record (like you were here) it won't be a deterrent to anyone who's interested. Have the carfax ready to show with the car.

Good luck with the sale!

Beautiful car and "they don't make them anymore" I have had 4 of them since 2000 and they ride like you are floating on a cloud. GLWS.

I owned an 89 TC, but when I was doing a lot of business travel. the pick up service always used later year TCs.

From the back seat, the later models seemed like they could handle much better than my 89.

But, the 89 had class.

The 89 did have class...but the improvements over the years really made me look back and say "WOW...I used to call THAT a Lincoln???"
