I have an 05 GM and I would like to know if there is a type of flex tubing that can be used as an egr tube? I remember someone saying there was but I can't find it in the search I ran. If I do an egr delete what has to be changed? I will be getting a new tune put in soon. Thank You

Someone here used uncoated ss flexible natural gas pipe. If you do a delete, you need to turn the egr flags off in the tune as well as capping off both ends. Depending on PA state inspections, that may be noticed by the state.

I used some heat to massage my EGR tube to make it work.
Off topic, You making it to MV9 SGT Merc?

PM Dtub, I believe he used SS Gas flex hose on his second to last build. You could also do what I did to Guspech's eaton swap, that is cutting the stocker into three pieces, flipping around, trimming, and rewelding a new one, if you are planning on relocating.

I used some heat and did some massaging, but the tube is to long. The egr is being moved closer to the firewall and I need to remove some length or get some flex tubing. Will smaller diameter tubing work, as long as I neck it to the correct size needed for the hook-ups. Yes I will be there. I won't be staying over night, but plan on hanging out with everyone into the night. I relocated my battery to the trunk. Ordered a 230 amp alternator. When I took my old alternator off, my lower intake had cracks running through it and 2 holes the size of my thumb going through to the runners. Now I'm doing a completely different intake and relocating the egr. Fun Fun yyyyeeeeaaaahhhh.

The egr tube connects into the passenger side of the upper intake plenum.

How in the world did your car run with two holes in the intake ?

I have no idea. The intake was so bad, the entire plastic lip between the upper and lower intake was broken off and lay crumbled in the valley between the heads.
