Hello,
Nice forum here. I was looking at a Marauder on Ebay the other day that ended up selling for like 12,900 it was located in Avon NY. If anyone bought that car on the forum PLEASE check the car out to your best ability. The dealership that sold the car is kind of shady. My mother in law just bought an 09 car from that place and it needed 2k in work after about a month. The Google reviews on the place are terrible as well. Figured I would chime in and give someone a heads up if they bought the car. It may be an awesome car and I hope it is.
I did not review the place.

Oh herro! If you plan on sticking around here you might as well head on over to the welcome forum and make an introduction post. As for the marauder I do not know of anyone from here buying it.... Still is a good possibility.

I sure will. Just wanted to give someone here the heads up if they did purchase that car. I was going to pull the trigger until I seen where the car was.

Yes it sold just the other day. Here is the car, great price for a low mileage MM if it as they state.

Yep, I was the one that bought it, and indeed it was a scam. I called the dealer to set up delivery and they supposedly knew nothing about it. I persisted and they "looked into it". Their story is that they had a salesman that listed the car for sale without management approval. I guess if he gets a good price, then he contacts the seller and tells them to come in and see only him. I only figured out what dealer it was by finding the car on Autotrader. (On ebay he had no dealer info.) There they are asking $18,900. Oh, well. I could have made a tidy profit on the car.

Oh man. That sucks Tom. Would have been cool to have two MM's for a short time anyway :(

unbelievable! This dealership sounds like a nightmare. Should not be able to get away with this kind of un-professionalism, over and over and over.

No you wouldnt have because I would have bought it LOL Just Kidding. Once I was going to bid on it and did some digging and found out it was good ol Ideal Chevrolet, I ran as fast as I could away from that car. I think you are better off not dealing with that stealership. I figured someone on this board may have bid on the car and was trying to let them know these guys are shady and to check out every inch of that car before giving them the rest of the money. They could have got someone if they had it shipped and the buyer didnt look at it in person. I may write the Better Business Bureau about them now after the episode my mother in law had there and now the Ebay scam. Glad they are getting exposed as a True Scum Dealership and a nice review and a call to NY BBB would be in line. I tried to register before the car sold to let a potential buyer here know about this place.
