The clock, HVAC and neither side of my manual door locks will work. I can use my FOB to lock and un-lock my doors but not the door lock buttons on either control unit. My HVAC is not working at all, no lights, no function - no nothing. My clock will not come on UNLESS, and this is the strangest part – my clock will come on ONLY while holding down my passenger side door Unlock button (but the door wont unlock) and the clock will ONLY show “1:00”.
My fuse is good but I changed it anyway. On the fuse list all of these operations seem to be connected.
Any help, guys? I hope it’s not a $1000 fix…

Sounds like there is a problem with one or more grounds.....

Well, this morning I fixed it. I'm still not sure how it happened.

Originally I checked fuses 21, 23 in the cabin box, neither were blown. I checked this morning and 23 was blown but not 21. They both control pieces of the door locks EATC, cabin lights, engine light, etc.

So I replaced the blown 23 fuse and my clock came back on, but not my EATC control. So I checked the 21 fuse again, and it was fine; I replaced it anyways...nothing happened.

So I went under the hood while the car was running and saw the fuse labeled 21 under there as well. I pulled it while the car was running and obviously the car bogged off (not great but bear with me) I replaced the fuse (which wasnt blown) and re-started my car. Now everything works again!

Not sure why all my stuff went haywire or really how to prevent it in the future, but for the time being it's fixed!!! :)

Any time microprocessors are involved things can get locked up. Removing/replacing the fuse prolly reset something and now it's golden...

...until the next time.

Know why Windows is a good system for prisons? Because it always locks up.

BWA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....
