I can't say for sure how long it's been going on it's sort of one of those "has this always been there" kind of things made worse by the fact that I listen to my stereo pretty loud. But there is this whistling sound that starts once I hit around 60mph I can hear it inside the car and I can hear it when I roll down my window, but it seems slightly more quite, though the sound of rushing air and engine might not be helping. Seems like it's coming from the front, but I can't really be sure.
My wife's old car had to get a new wndshield several years back and they didn't seal it correctly so it had a very similar whistling sound, so it could be a similar issue with an imperfect seal. Never had the windshield replaced though.
Just wanted to know what you all thought thanks for the help.

Make sure your Mach 1 chin has no gaps from the bottom bumper. I have the same thing have to redo it

I finally gave up with the multiple screws and used clear silicone on the inside to get rid of the noise I had coming from my chin spoiler. Like Slickster said, that might be your problem.

There's one screw on eatch side that the spoiler goes right under. If that is your issue mark around that area remove spoiler and cut around it and clear silocone would help

Either that or somebody is playing a joke on you by attaching one of those stick-on deer whistles in a hidden spot.....

If you have a chin spoiler, thats whats whistling. I just learned to live with it.

Thanks everyone. The chin spoiler is more then likely the issue. Though I did check for a whistle , just to make sure. Might try to silicone issue.

If you're unsure if it's the chin spoiler causing the whistle 4rgone, why not just put one long piece of 3M painters tape where there two surfaces meet, take it for a test drive and see if the issue is solved or not? Just a thought, hope it might help w/ diagnosing the issue. :)

I have a whistle while on the highway. Hear it mostly when close to concrete median. It's been there long before i put on the chin spoiler.

I have had my marauder since 2006, and i have a feeling i know what your talking about..... I also hear a whistle... on the highway, and i can hear it next to the median (reflection assists the noise)
Honestly, their are alot of metal and plastic parts joining on the front of the vehicle... and when you drive... air can rush in, and cause the spiral needed to create the whistle..
Funny thing though, in my case, i cannot hear it as prevelent INSIDE as i can with the window down, in the far left lane... listening for the noise... If im flying at 80mph or faster, then ALOT OF WHISTLE.
But sure, if you have any type of front spoiler, causing a wind obstruction... would cause the whistle.
My car is stock.... BTW.:burnout:
