Hello everyone okay my mercury marauder is pretty much stock but motor just gave in at 135k thinking of aluminator for replacement. Where can I get a tune? Do the tunes come with actual hardware? I'm new to the MM moding but have about 8k to drop into my baby! Thanks everyone.

The best tuner in NORCAL is AEDHP.com. Shaun dialed in my Marauder with a BBS (331rw) and Jdennings old Eaton Marauder that made 450rw. I would call Drew and Shaun at AED to get a sense of what you can do with the 8k..
The tune is just there tune you can buy the handheld unit from you tuner if you need one. If your adding the 10:1 ford racing Aluminator you will loose some power due to the heavier rotating assembly if your getting the the 8.5:1 you will lose a lot of power due the loss of compression and the rotating assembly. Your current tune should be very close with the 10:1 engine, now would be the best time to add some kind of power adder and then get a tune along with the Aluminator. With only 8k to spend I would get a nicely built engine and a tune with the possibility of a power adder down the road. As far as who to let tune your car ask around locally to you for a good mustang tuner

Rebuild your existing SB and a Vortech SC and call it a day! What's wrong with the motor
