View Full Version : New Fuel Pump questions

I have a nice new 255lph fuel pump to install, but I want to get a new:

o-ring for pump assy (top of tank)
screen/hanger items.

Ford only sells it as one piece. I don't want to have to spend $265 just so I can switch in my performance pump, and then have a brand new stock pump left over.

Anyone have some links/ideas. Thanks.

Sell the 255 and get a GT pump for 50 bucks more and call it a day.

That oring you speak of is re-usable for the life of the car.
I have never seen one become brittle, break, crack etc...

Thanks. I see also on Rockauto that there is a universal sock/screen that could be used.
