I am considering putting the OEM rear tire size on all four. I have an extra set that will work, but am unsure of any potential problems I will experience by doing this. Anyone have any feedback?

it will most likely throw off the ABS and if you have an 04 it will throw off the TC. and look funny

2003's have no traction control so you'll be OK.
2004's have traction control so you have to remember to turn is off after starting the car.

That's a good question.I'm interested in the answer as I am running all the same on mine. It's an 2003 and it has the tc button. I just turn it off all the time.(255/50/18)all around

If you have the TC button then follow everything for the 2004 model.
BTW... TC can not be turned off in a "tune".

If you have a 2003, with TC button, then you have a 300b.

I have been running 245/55/18 on all 4 since 2005 with issues on a '03-A (no T/C) the car does handle better with the bigger size up front:)

After nearly 9 years of MM.Net posting on this most basic of MM questions, I find it hard to believe that it took 9 posts for the correct answer to show up.
Traction Control came on the late 2003 MMs (known as 300Bs) and all 2004 MMs. If you have the TC, then you will have to maintain a 3% - 6% taller tire on the rear to make the TC happy or you will have to "turn off" the traction control every time you start the car.

Just put 255/45/18's all the way around last night. Noticed the T/C flipped out when I was getting on the highway. Turned it off....all is well. Car handles way better!!
