Now that you have Registered for Marauderville IX (MV9) and booked your hotel room, its time to start thinking about your packing list of what to bring to the event(s). Here's a few tips ...... Please add more if you can think of them. :D
1. MV9 Itinerary (for quick reference. Print this off from the Itinerary thread and put it in the MM over the visor or somewhere where it is handy).
2. Maps of the area if you are not relying on GPS.
3. FRS/GMRS radios for convoy communications (don't forget the base charger if you have one).
4. Folding chairs (they come in very handy).
5. Camera (with spare batteries) and/or video recorder.
6. MM Black leather jacket (for cool temps and possibly some photo ops).
7. Hat (s) might be needed for the day of the carshow or other extended time outside.
8. Sunscreen (maybe) --- hoping for alot of sun during the week.
9. MM Detailing supplies for quick touch-ups (microfiber towels, california duster, Absorber/Chamois for morning wipe downs .... and other items).
10. DON'T FORGET TO TOP OFF YOUR GAS TANK WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE HOTEL (OR JUST BEFORE ARRIVAL). ACTIVITIES START EARLY ON THURSDAY MORNING AND THE CONVOYS TO EVENTS DO NOT STOP FOR GAS. ;)
If you can think of other items .... add them to the list when you post.
Bottled Water, cheaper to buy a case from your discount store at home than pay $1-2 at vendor prices. Keep the case in your hotel room.

We took special care in the preparation of the daily itineraries and mapping of each and every location. Nobody will be lost or out of the loop during this Marauderville.
Don't forget your cash, our list of raffle items are hard to not wanna get involved in. ;)
Good tip on filling up with gas. Thursdays activites are all within a 20 mile radius. Friday is a bit of a driving day. The track and the railroad are within 40 miles of the hotel. Saturday the activities are within 15 miles of the hotel and then you'll have to top off before most of you head home on Sunday
I'm bringing a Marauder Alley sign for the hotel lobby.

That's probably the first and only time "Booty call" is called a boty friend. :D
Good thing the trunk organizer has compartments, think of all the inflatable dates some of you could bring.

As of yet, no one's mentioned packing a cooler, filled with beverage(s) of your choice... ;)

Im throwing a new belt on it and I keep spare coils in the trunk. If someone happens to have a coil issue, come see me and I'll be able to help you out.

Bubba, if it's a Marauder event, then there's gonna be some parking lot bench racing going on. :D
A properly filled (and chilled) cooler is an absolute MUST HAVE for that. (Gotta do something besides just sitting there in your lawnchair and shooting :bs:)... ;)
I have a roll of painters masking tape (blue of course!) in the trunk that actually got borrowed at Charlotte Motor Speedway last year. Never thought it would be used for anything other than the rare detailing I do to the car. It was left in the trunk on accident but I decide to keep it in there after that. I've seen people use it to tape up their back bumpers to keep rubber from sticking on them at the drag strip, so maybe someone may ask for it again, we will see.

We are bringing two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon..

Hard stuff only at State Stores. Beer sold elsewhere, not in Supermarkets IIRC.
